Chair D was designed by KAKO.KO Design Studio for Eurokancom. It’s a very simple concept in which the seat folds down into a stool.
It represents a mix of tradition and innovation, where cultural heritage is redefined into a contemporary design object.
Two-fold in its function, the object features a unique geometry that can easily transition between armchair and footstool.
A series of flat, bendable surfaces collapse and expand to transform both the dimension and the usage of the singular piece.
Supported by a solid wood base, the chair embodies a simple but bold aesthetic. made to order, the chair is carefully constructed with contrasting felt and wood that have been selected for their sustainable attributes.
